Browser limitations
Some shortcuts are intercepted by the operating system or browser before a webpage can read them. Media keys, special function layers and vendor-specific controls are not guaranteed to expose standard key events.
A missing browser event is useful evidence, but it is not enough by itself to prove a failed switch.
Keyboard test FAQ
Does this test change my keyboard settings?
No. It only listens for browser key events and keeps the session state on the page.
Can I test NKRO?
The main matrix shows simultaneous keys, but the dedicated ghosting/rollover test is better for repeatable multi-key combinations and maximum simultaneous counts.
Why does a shortcut leave the page?
Some system/browser shortcuts take priority over webpage input. Test an alternative combination before blaming the keyboard.
