How to use this tool
Inspect the casing, hinges, ports and charger with the seller present.
Open the linked keyboard, display, camera and audio tests.
Mark each item checked, needs attention or not tested and add notes.
Download your report and compare it with the seller’s description.
Read the result correctly
A checked item means you observed the described function during this inspection; it is not a warranty or an automatic hardware verdict. Keep not-tested items visible rather than treating them as passes. Record the device model yourself and note whether tests were run on battery or mains power. Physical damage, hinge stiffness, missing screws and charger condition need direct inspection. Ask the owner to demonstrate charging, sleep/wake and the operating-system battery report. Check the receipt, ownership and any activation lock with the seller.
Limits and troubleshooting
Web pages cannot inspect SSD SMART health, battery wear, internal temperatures, firmware locks or hidden damage. Do not enter passwords, serial numbers or personal documents into the notes. The checklist remains in this tab until you download it; it is not automatically saved.
Privacy and control
Device previews, recordings, selected files and report notes stay in your browser. Downloaded files remain on your device. The call check sends small HTTP probes to GearCheck Lab. The WebRTC test exchanges temporary connection descriptions through our server and contacts the disclosed STUN service only after you create or join a session. Ordinary page requests and usage measurement are described in our privacy policy.
