Mirroring changes only this page’s preview. Your meeting software may mirror its local preview while sending unmirrored video to other participants. Printed text makes that difference easier to observe. The composition guide divides the preview into thirds and helps place the subject consistently. Compare headroom, lighting and background without changing several settings at once. Video dimensions describe the active browser stream rather than the camera sensor’s maximum capability.
This cannot set framing or mirror preferences inside another app. The preview uses contain sizing to avoid deliberate cropping, but the camera driver can still provide a cropped stream. Hiding the page and Stop release camera tracks. No photos or recordings are created.
Device previews, recordings, selected files and report notes stay in your browser. Downloaded files remain on your device. The call check sends small HTTP probes to GearCheck Lab. The WebRTC test exchanges temporary connection descriptions through our server and contacts the disclosed STUN service only after you create or join a session. Ordinary page requests and usage measurement are described in our privacy policy.
